A strong community is very important at The Birches Academy. We encourage all families to participate as often and as widely as they are able, from attending our weekly Forest Forum (Thursdays at 9am in The Woods) to attending special activities to volunteering in the classrooms. Friends of the Birches

Friends of the Birches is our school’s PTA.  Its goal is to coordinate and facilitate community-based events and small fundraisers. Starting with the Welcome Back Social and continuing throughout the school year, the Friends of the Birches sponsors events and organizes activities aimed at providing our families opportunities to come together to our students’ school experience. Types of events include:

HELP IN THE COMMUNITY

The Parent Ambassador program helps The Birches Academy gain a strong understanding of happenings in our sending towns. The main objective is to raise the profile of our school in each town so that we can identify and pursue 1) how to build a stream of students for the Kindergarten lottery and the waitlist for the older grades and 2) businesses that are interested in donating in any way to our school and supporting our mission.
